when i got my 07 BF750i, it was Kaw dark green, but it was pretty scuffed up. the BF was perfect in all other aspects except those Arizona pin stripes since it came from up north AZ.
i stripped it all down of plastics, took off all the old stickers and such, then scuffed them up all over with a scotch brite pad. wiped them all off with a wet rag, ensured there was no oil or anything on them, laid out some big cardboard out in the driveway on a great, warm, wind free day and went to town.

i started with the Krylon plastic primer, and since i wasn't getting all fancy i was just going with a straight mono chrome desert tan. so it was the same plastic tan.

i shot the primer and it really came out great. i had started in the morning so it took an hour to spray, then i let it sit in 90 degree sun for the rest of the day then moved into garage. i let it dry in the garage the the next week since i sprayed on a sunday and didn't have time with work and all to do the rest until the next weekend.

i paint guns, so dry time is key, the longer it dries the better!. got the tan out and did same. 3 years later it is still holding!! if i get an accidental pin stripe or the foot boards start flaking due to your feet, just touch up with the tan.

my racks i did in BBQ black since that is what i had and they are still black.

only issue is that when you put gas in, if using a typical can, i take a long rag and wrap it around the filler tube so as not to spill any gas on the paint as it will take it off. other than the occasional touch up, it looks pretty good IMHO.

yeah i didn't do the underside! forgot! i don't care though, it's a hunting quad not a show quad!!!
