Hello, I have a 2009 Kawasaki Mule diesel 4010 KAF950

my question is this my rear drive bevel gear/s maybe damaged the part numbers for the gears are 49022-1204 and 49022-1205 one being 18teeth and the other 15Teeth.

I have found both of these for sale in the usa for a lot of money with shipping to the UK

I have found cheaper gears with similar part numbers one being the following 49022-1095, it looks the same, has the same number of teeth but is considerably cheaper. the listing says its for KAF620 Bayou 220 250 KLF220 KLF250.

Does anyone know if this will match up for the one I need and the last 4 numbers are maybe just down to kawasaki's parts referencing system? or is there some important difference I'm missing?

note The 2 numbers ( 1204 and 1205) have been changed to
49022-0614
and
49022-0615

The 49022-1095 only fits the following Mule's Note, 2007 and before only.

Is this because the splines are different? Or are the gears cut differently?

Also you say the numbers have changed for the same parts, so is it not that they change previously after 2007 but is the same physical part?

The first 2 part numbers, which are the numbers that are specific to your mule, Kawasaki changed the part numbers of them, same part, but different number.

The shafts the gears go in have different P/Ns for 2007 verses 2009. I would not take a chance buying the 2007 P/N gear(s)
