kicksart, they blasted the rock in Mineral Fork :(

The switchbacks past the waterfall is one of my favorite sections of the trail.

There was already snow on top so we knew we weren't going to make it all the way up. Mostly because it would have been too cold for dinner.

Dinner was delicious. :D

And the ride back out was delightful.
damn man those look like some nice trails
clearance isn't really an issue and if it becomes an issue I'll order some ricochet skids.
if clearance becomes an issue just pick up the speed ;)
Im thinkn about getting the kawasaki skid plates I know they are a little expensive but im shur they are quality
man that off camber trail down that hill would scare the crap out of me! i'd be digging the seat out of my rear end and the end of the trail! great pics though, it's been awhile, hope your back is doing better, i've had 2 surgeries on my neck since i broke it while in the Army way back when.
thanks Roadkill50 - I would dread having back or neck surgery done - mine was simple, just cancer

Actually they removed an adrenal gland that had a large cancerous tumor growing on it - pretty simple - amazing Doctors and Nurses so I'm back to 110% :D
glad your doing well man
Wait...."New Belt"? Already? You knew someone was going to catch that...Just a spare, right? :D
Eventually.

I've got 2000 miles on the new belt and I'm not having any issues.

I decided that every December I'm going to take it in and have the valves adjusted and I'll buy a new belt and replace it myself.

This way I should experience nothing but trouble free riding. I hate belts and don't trust them
how much are they getting to do the valves ?

Its not a picture of my BF but one of my Pisten Bully being stuck BAD!!!!

Long story short I put in 22 hrs that day.
she looks like shes in there pretty good kenny
I placed the order two days ago and expected to get the email requesting all the pertinent info pertaining to the shock build but nothing so far. I've heard 5-10 days build time plus shipping so maybe two weeks? Would have bought straight from Elka but I went through an eBay retailer to get a free t-shirt and shock guards included for the same price. Made me feel a little better about the purchase. :smile2: $1299 shipped for stage 3 is about the best price I've seen so far and I certainly don't think they'll be going any lower. Most of the guys that go with performance shocks rave about them so we will see. Makes sense really because the two things that work the hardest on the trail is the engine and suspension. Engine is already the best in the business so why buy the "Kawasaki" of shocks to match the engine performance.
Can you send me the ebay link please

Looks great! Where did you get your flares from? I just put 1.5" spacers on mine after I rolled it twice in one day. Already have noticed it being much more stable.

I haven't ridden yet since I put the spacers on. I have 27" STI Black Diamonds on mine and need some flares to tame these mud tossers.
How is your light bar working ? What did you pay for it

Just a few from yesterday's ride.

The rain chased us but never could catch us. :grin2:

Two of my favorite flowers.

We even had some wildlife keeping an eye on us. :wink2:

Barney Lake is always pretty.

And so are old abandoned half-tracks. :grin2:

Hunt's Lake

Here is a screen shot of the Paiute Trail system complete with trail numbers, gas stations, motels, bathrooms, museums, state parks, trail heads, and kiosks. You probably know all this map like the back of your hand, but it just shows what's possible with this app.
