I did get out last week.
I went with a film crew that we hired to do promotional and riding etiquette videos for the Paiute Trail.

We lucked out and saw a decent sized herd of Mountain Goats.

It was a nice ride for sure and I can't believe that fall is here already.

I've been riding some this year, but nowhere near normal either. I hope to do a lot more this fall.

Those last pics were from a night ride I did from Eureka out to Vernon Reservoir. Then I got a wild hair and decided to push on over Lookout Pass over to Dugway. Then I got a nail in my tire and limped into Simpson Springs for help.

Yeah, me too. I haven't even turned my computer on in almost a year! I've filmed some rides on the new Brute, but I haven't got them off the sd card yet! I've been slacking!!

That's called "Brute Fever"...lol. Wait until you get "real tires" and "real shocks" on it! A whole new level of "Wanderlust".

Our club went out and rode the Gooseberry trail system in central Utah over the weekend. We rode about 80 miles, and the majority were on 50" trails. The new tires have lots of traction, and they are very stable around corners and on side hills, but they knocked my mileage down at least 20 miles per tank!
But I don't ever have to worry about air pressure or getting a flat with them......they work best with no air!😄

Fixed the fuel pump on the old '03 P650 and then went for a fall color ride last Sunday near Heber, Utah.

Got to go on another ride yesterday. We did over 100 miles, and we went as high as 11,200 feet. The Brute still has plenty of power up there, and runs perfectly. We, however, were out of breath just walking up a rock pile to get some photos!😄
