Oh hell no Ill just stick with my stock wheels. The headlock wheels I always wanted they dont even make anymore.
Yeah, I might do the same thing when these tires wear out. Or I might mount some Anclas on these beadlocks and put some actual snow tires on my stock wheels and switch them over in winter. Riding in the snow at high altitude is when you really need the power!

Got out for another ride today. It was way better than watching some football game!
Only got stuck once, but it was quite the ordeal to get out!

Do you ride alone often?
Are you able to call for help if needed?
Or what safety measures do you have in place?

I end up riding alone most of the time. No place nearly as remote as you. Want to start travelling out farther and taking bigger trips but that is my biggest fear. How can you be prepared for everything.

I have ridden alone a lot. Probably 80% of the time before 2021.Since 2021, I have ridden with someone about 95% of the time.

I ride with everything I would need if I were to get stranded for three or four days. I carry a water purifier, a backpacker stove, three freeze dried meals, firestarter, first aid kit, knife, saw, hatchet, firearm, ammo, space blanket, batteries, chargers, tools, extra clothes, winch kit, tire pump, patch kit, headlamps, towstraps, etc. I have also recently started carrying some monofilament and a hook. In winter, I also usually ride with snowshoes and trek poles.

I always let someone know where I am going and when to expect to hear from me. Obviously, I can't be prepared for everything, but if a belt breaks or something, I am in good physical shape and I can usually walk out if needed. Where I got stuck this weekend, I was only 17 miles from the truck, and that is pretty easy walking for me. But I would've never made it that whole way without probably a dozen snowmobiles coming by before then.
I should probably get an In-Reach satellite device, but cell phones usually work, and if they don't, I can usually hike to someplace where they will.
As for medical emergencies.....well that's where a Spot would be nice I guess. But if it's really bad, I don't think I want to be rescued!

We finally got a sunny day after nearly a month of snow storms, so I took the Brute out to test the new lights and get them aimed right.
