I just bought this Lakota a few days ago for a great price ($400) and it already had 4 new tires, Battery, new chain and Sprockets and brakes all around..
I dont mind having to put some money into it as long as it will not break the bank..
Yes the motor has to come out and be split. So this wod be the time to do anything els that you might want done. Like big bore, head work, or anything like that.
Not a bad deal at all! I got mine for 400 with broken plastics and a warped head. I put a new sprocket on because the old one was bent and got the cylinder and head planed for 50 bucks and she was good to go. I had to take that side cover off and ended up messing up and oil seal so now i have a leak around the shifter, so that is something you may want to watch out for.
