How won't it go in? Does it feel like it's hitting something or like it pops back to first?
Reverse
Okay, Got the mojo running again and I tried putting it in reverse. It wont go in. I will try adjusting the cable on it tomorrow. Any ideas? Reverse is important for sure.

Nah its just like your not even turning the switch, It just goes into first like normal. I am guessing the cable is the culprit.
I don't know what it looks like inside the reverse cover, but the guts of the knob on the bars are just plastic. That would be the first place I'd check.
Usually the lower end gets clogged with dirt and holds it open all the time when not working right.
