Any modification to the structure..as in any size hole, cut or welded addition will null the ROPS certification of that structure/roll cage. That in itself is a significant degrade in overall vehicle valuation and something to be avoided on higher end machines.. unless the entire cage is replaced by one built to spec and by certified builder. Otherwise better to use clamp-on mounts. I'm about to destroy my ZForce's ROPS certified cage by doing a chop mod. But being a 7 year old Chinese machine...I'm not too worried about it....lol
