Hi all.

My snow plow blade is due for a new wear edge. The steel plate is effective, but can scrape up the driveway. I would like to put a hard rubber or polyurethane edge on, but don't want to spend the $.

Has anyone found an alternate material that can be purchased that would also work? I read about someone trying a piece of composite decking material, but did not hear the result? There must be something at Lowes or Home Depot that would suffice?

Thanks.

The hard rubber edge lasts a long time because of the light weight of the plow so it is not like you will be paying that price every season. If you double the edge it will last almost forever.
