My service manual shows the shocks can be adjusted, but it doesn't show how.
it says to use the special steering stem nut wrench ,
Kawasaki 57001-1100
but i do not know how to adjust the shocks.
2001 Mule 550 KAF300C5.

Look at the bottom of the spring seat on the shock,. You should see some notches. Thats where the wrench goes. Look right under that and you will see which way to turn to adjust them. Might need to jack it up some to take pressure off the springs to turn them.

Spanner wrench to "hook" into a notch. I agree, jack up to take the weight off the shock, makes it easier to turn.
