a few questions about the vforcejohn machined clutches

im planning on getting the stage 3 clutch mod done to my 650 sra but i was also considering getting the spidermod done to it. i know it modifies the weights but are you stuck with using the modded weights or can you change them out? is it good for trail riding? can you keep the stock engagement rpms and just use springs to change the stall and engagement ( cause im really wanting the better fuel economy )? and does the stage 3 spidermod still retain the 93 mph gearing or does the spidermod change that? also im looking for feedback on machined clutches, lightened secondarys, spidermods, and roller conversions so if anybody has and positive feedback on those thatd be great.

I got lots of feed back and we dont do stages like cookies for sale were specific build people for your hp out put . And riding you do is paramount for the set up you do . The real truth is there is only two people in the world that truely modifiy these units for significant gain and its not bolt in parts we both find that the kawie weights are the boss and the aftermarket spring guys are the must thing ...who you choose is your choice. I dont disscuss on open threads as azz hole wars break out but P.Ms. are welcome and what we do the part guys are scared to do so its just a custom thing and you need to decide who you go with..Price seems to dictate who gets the lions share as all Hi performance business does.I will tell you this ..dont let time in the shop for this mod sway you for price ..we offer loners if you have to ride and recredit it back card or certified check when your spec unit arrives ...were not the fastest turn out and back at your door but were the fastest when you get your spec unit. Walmart world dont work for spec items tailored to your likings ...Lions share I could give a rats azz about ...quality and service ..its paramount..were the first on breakthroughs on antibind and just plain old elbow grease and hand lapping to get these things carring equal rate on the stands ...no SLAM BANG HERE YOU GO HERE IS WHAT EVERYONE RUNS....its all good were specialists and took years to get these things really showing gains ..motor sports seen it in the 60s with azzholes ...now power sports is seeing it with azzholes. We just prove a belt can run with the best of them, and bolt in shit dont cut it...you have to cut it to run The internet is a info pump for do it your selfers that think they cn make these things gain 10mph and 1/2 second in 300ft...only 2 guys I know can back up these statements with 100.000 in machines to cut these all the others say dont machine these castings on a orange tag just bolt our stuff in and be spectacular...2 of us has the balls to make you guys fast and not have problems ...its a simple as that..who you go with is your choice ...look at the heavy hitters and see what they got. not the masses because of price, look at who inovates product and not the followers ...that spells the chess game ...I hold back because of the competitor as he straw buys and copys ...were light yers ahead and have things for release that I cant because of mass market failure means bad name for all...we deal straight up at the track and good ole magazine adds so the ole cyber talk want to be folks stay a step back...This cyber deal is noting but for info pumps to take it from the minds that create it and whore it out like china men...its fact stay in long enough and you will see real quick...hell my deal is the new super heads for these new combines that pull 12 row heads eat belts and wont keep regular speeds and destruct in heavy good crops...guess who corrected this situation on a state local level ...JH..I get good bucks cutting 14'' sheaves for 450hp motors ...think deere would listen...hell no sell 700.00 belts and 400.00 service call change out...been in cvts for years ...were just playing chess with the know it alls for now in my hobby not my business...all my atv guys is need to know...put it on ...make a few trys ..my baseline will end up being faster ...work with the motor and chassis, win races set great times ..I take the guess work out and hassel...I do my job you work the bike..JH

The spidermod doesn't modify the weights. I modifies the spider.

Yes you can use whatever weights you choose but the spidermod will make them "act" 2-3grams heavier than they really are.

Yes your stall will be closer to stock and will be even with higher than stock engagement spring rates.

Yes they are good for trail riding, and the overdrive gearing is still increased.

Also if you are interested in Jim's product PM him as he doesn't always represent himself best on open forum.

Aint that the truth. Every time I start to think about doing a clutch he gives me another reason to have John do it for me.
