Have 04 prairie 700, on hard accel from stop has stumble / sputtering, also does this in deep mud when starting to bog down and trying to accel out of it. have tried adding extra shim uder needles (2 total, .40), adj idle screw from 1 1/2 to 3 turns out , cleaned out carbs, nothing seems to work. any suggestions?
145 / 142 main jets, 2inch snorkel, k&n, dyna cdi, epi pink spring, plug boot mod, nyroc exhaust mod, 28 inch mudzillas

After reading first part I was going to say too rich after reading last part I will say most likely too rich.

Putting shims under need makes it richer, the mixture screws only affect idle.

Snorkel too small too

It might be same diameter but it is much longer and restrictive.

Hard to answer the other questions. I use a air/fuel ratio gauge to do all my tuning but it does sound rich.

Typically stumbles are rich conditions. Lean runs mean till it quits!!

i got it figured out , snorkel was to big, put tape over portion of it and doing
wheelies from dead stop, stumble is gone, thanks for advice, where would you
purchase a air/fuel ratio gauge?

What you did was put tape over the intake and the vacuum level built up inthe system then the slide started acting correct.

Vacuum carbs need the right amount of vacuum in the intake to function properly.
