Hi there everyone!!! I've got a 2008 Teryx that had a trans gear explode so I was forced to split the cases for repair. Well I figured, when in Rome, right?? I put an 840 BBK kit with 10.5:1 CP (carrillo) pistons, Hot rods crank and rods (had some grooves in the factory rod faces), Dynatek coils and CDI, and the Filter Box lid is basically mostly a filter now (anyone that needs the info on air box lid mod just let me know, I can give a DIY step by step). Anyway, I haven't done the cams yet because I don't want to go ridiculously radical. I still want a fair share of reliability. I've heard thru the grape vine that you can install cams from a newer machine and end up with great results on the 08's. My question is do I need to install the cams out of a 2012 Teryx 750 Part No. 49118 - 0722 & 49118 - 0723 or should I go with cams from a 2016 Teryx 800 Part No. 49118 - 0787 & 49118 - 0788???? Can anyone shed a little light on this for me? I would greatly appreciate it!
