Hello all, Im new to the forum and am hoping for a easy solution to my problem. I just picked up a 2005 KFX700IG that only has 5 hours of light use. It looks brand new and starts right up with the choke. But if you try to turn off the choke it idles rough and stalls. If you try to give it gas it bogs out and stalls. Does this sound like a dirty carb or bad fuel pump? With only 5 hours of use im guessing it has been stored for a long time with old gas.... Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Have you drained or used up all the old gas? Does it idle bad with the choke off even when it is warmed up?

I have drained the old gas and have fresh fuel in the tank. It idles OK once its warmed up but bogs out or dies when you touch the throttle.

just a note....pull them completely apart. You will have to use compressed air to blow out the pilot jets if they are clogged.

Pay attention as to how everything comes apart :)
