Tough Shift Into Reverse

Came here to research to see if anyone is having problems, because mine is doing the same thing. Super annoying, if its normal and won't hurt anything I can live with it, but hope Kawasaki looks into it.

I have a 2015, and had the same problem. Mine continued to get worse. I took WD40, and soaked the shifter linkage just behind the dash. For mine, that fixed the problem. Mine now shifts in to reverse with no problem. The WD40 fixed my problem.

Thanks for the tip, Ill check it out, but to be clear mine works fine except from a cold start. When the mule has been sitting and I get in it it's stubborn to go into gear, forward or reverse. Once it's in, it's fine after that.

It annoying but I've had to do the same thing on dirt bikes so I didn't think much of it at first. The longer I have it the more annoying it's getting.

I just tap the gas and it shifts smooth as silk in to reverse. Not a big deal. It has gotten easier over time also.

I just spent all weekend with Rangers, Kubotas, a Yamaha hunting. If you don't like the Mule by all means go to one of the other brands... but I assure you... our issues are small potatoes compared to theirs. LOL
I like the Mule so far. It's a new machine and I've been busy working out small kinks and this is one of them. Some issues to a degree I've come to expect. I'll agree these machines seem better than most other brands, but sometimes I literally have to push the Mule out my garage by hand before it will go into gear. That's not right, it's an issue.
