awhile back the wire that is connected to the switch had corroded off and i cleaned it up and re soldered it.well it will not stay on.i noticed today that it was off again,so once again i soldered it.this happen to anyone else?if so how did you fix yours.i hate to buy a new one there 53.00

What part seems to be the cause? :hmm: I soldered the wire directly to the switch.

camo it is the brass temp,(well it looks like brass) probe that threads in the thermostat housing.it has a wire coming off of it

I think that is only for the hi temp light on your dash.... I may be wrong though!
