I installed some new parts.





The old belt. It even had a crack or two in it. 1531 miles and 151.3 hours is all it has on it.

Last week when we were out riding The Devil's racetrack my right heated grip quit working so I bought I bought new ones and put them on today too.

I ran out of time so I'll put the new spark plugs in tomorrow.
I sure like the way the new belt engages. I marvel at how much they go down hill in only 1500 miles.

I changed them at 5000 miles the first time, 8500 miles the 2nd time and now at 11400.

New spark plugs have never changed the way it ran.

I can't see taking it all apart and not replacing the belt.

I take mine apart and do a full clutch maintenance everytime I change the oil anyway. Usually by the 3rd or 4th disassembly of the year, I take a shim out.

I don't blame you one bit. I hate seeing you have so many problems.

I'd much rather see pictures from your rides than your valves and I'm sure you'd rather be taking scenery pictures than internal engine pictures.

Hey, speaking of getting out riding, I was thinking about heading somewhere without too much mud. I saw you went out to the Swell the other day. Was it muddy out there? I'd like to stay in snow if I can.

No mud and just enough snow to smooth out the ride without fighting the snow.
We're thinking about doing Behind the Reef pretty soon.
Should be fun with a little snow on the ground.

Nope, but we met each other on a ride this past summer up in Murdock Basin.
I pulled up to kickstart and we already knew who each other was.

Yeah, it was pretty cool. If Kenny had come up the road 5 minutes later, I would've already turned up another trail and we would've missed each other completely.
I think his bright blue Brute, and my green Prairie are pretty conspicuous around here. We don't see a ton of Kawasaki quads anyway, so when you see a blue or green one....look out!😄

I got my new rollers today so it looks like the clutch is coming back off.
