Ok, so.....

Can the front drive parts be added? Any special tools? Do you Have to split the cases? I suppose you would anyway if you wanted to add the tranny gears with the hi and lo range..

Any body done this?

I just saw a want ad locally for a Brute/Prairie 650 motor and was wondering if I could sell my spare Vforce motor to the guy... if he just needs top end parts I guess it would be no trouble, but I am not sure anyone would want to go to all the work to convert a V motor all the way over..

Thanks.

i think you need the prairie/brute cases for the 4wd. unless you dont want 4wd.

You would need to split the case for the high/low gear. And the 4x4 shaft that goes through the motor would need to be installed, but that can be done without splitting the case.

Yep..
You only need the center shaft to make it work, but you will not have low gear without changing the gears in the case.
