I have a stock 2008 brute force 650 and I want to know if 14" rims with 27" Mud Lite XTR tires will fit without putting a lift in? Also, what offset would I use?

The 2008 clutches are substandard, so before bigger tires you might be wise to put better clutch weights in the primary, along with a spring set, either Daltons or Johns. Or maybe the weights from a 2012 or up. My 2013 works much better than my 2008 ever did. Can drive in everything but deep stuff in high. Couldn't do that in the 08 at all.

I should have said the 2008 primary clutch weights are substandard. The clutches themselves are fine.

i have 27's mud lites on my 12" stock rims now w/o any issues. looking for new shoes for desert riding as the mudlites have too much of a gap between the lugs for the dreaded Arizona jumping cactus!!
