Just joined Forum and am seriously looking at the Brute Force 650i. I know of two pretty good deals right now and wondered which one sounds like a better deal. Maybe you experts can give your opinion.
1. 2008 Dealer left-over; brand new. Can probably buy for around $6500.
2. 2006 Private party sale. From Estate Sale. 146 original miles on atv. $4995.
I have not actually ridden either machine, but based on the prices, which one looks like the best deal?

In my humble opinion, new is always better if you can swing it... I just bought a 2009 750 BF for 7,700 out the door which before taxes and all was 6,7??.?? I dont remember the exact numbers but 6,7?? somthing. Anyway so if your 650 is before taxes I would see if you can get them down any more than 6,500 because the 2009 750 was only a few hundred more dollars. Also If its your back you are worried about the newer BF (08 and newer) have a redesigned seat pan which is much more comfertable. One of the reasons for the sale of the 05 BF I used to ride....seat was like sitting on a 2x4

Go with the dealer and get them as low as possible! Also you will get a warranty! My friend both a prairie 700 that was 1 1/2 years old and he got the full warranty and a great deal!

The new Dealer 08 650 only comes with a 6 month warranty.
A New 09 650 comes with a 12 month warranty.
Both 650's currently have a $350 factory rebate, a 750 has a $800 rebate and the 08 750 also comes with a 12 month warranty.
A extended warranty is wise to have on a used 4wheeler.
On the new Dealer 08 650 a extended warranty can be purchased if his price on it is reasonable, like $415 for a 4 yr extended warranty, you can buy a extended warranty on Ebay for $415 and it will be honored at any Kawasaki dealer.
I just bought a New 09 BF750 for $6649, so I would say your 08 650i is overpriced.
Check other dealer prices, best to look at www.atvtraderonline.com this is how I found the deal on my 09 750.
good luck.
