Does anybody know if the 2010 recoil starter will fit an 09?

Yes, Kawasaki has been offering the recoil starter as a option since the '08BF750 FI's.
Are the 10's suppose to be coming with the recoil starter?
I've seen 4 New '10 BF750's at the Dealer and none of them had the recoil starter.

yes it will work, Motosport.com has em for around $100.

bfb650b2...are you sure about those 2010 models? Kawasaki say's the 10's come standard with recoil, 08-09 it was an option.

What the heck is it and whats it do?

It enables you to pull start your bike if your battery is low. If your bike cacks on ya without this option your pooched.

This is why the 2010's are around $400 more than the 09's, better to buy one from the internet than the dealer.

yep, I looked at them Today, all 3 (they sold one of the 10's) did Not have the recoil rope, must just be a Canadian thing.
I was told the reason for the price increase is b/c of the poor U.S. dollars vs the Yen.
