78 mph on pavement and a slight downhill. This was verified on gps and with all the mods in my signature.

Clutch modifications allow faster top speeds. By changing the angle of the sheaves, the belt is allowed to run higher on the clutch, which translates to more top end. A VForceJohn clutch mod, with the right springs, will allow faster acceleration and greater top end. There is more that can be done to improve top end, but it involves going inside the engine. Clutch mod is the quickest, and least expensive way to gain top end.
