Kawasaki soft upper doors suck.

Referring to the Kawasaki Mule Pro FX or DX dealer added soft cab enclosure.

So watching video as I research the vehicle I have ordered I see that the Kawasaki sourced soft upper doors for the complete cab enclosure has upper doors that pivot on a totally different angle from the lower hard doors.

What this means is that when you open the doors, the upper and lower doors detach and become two individual clumsy pieces that require you to put them back together every time you open and close them. Very much unlike a Jeep Wrangler or any other door you've ever used.

Seizmik makes a proper upper soft door that uses a filler panel to place the upper hinges in alignment with the lower so that the doors work properly.

I'm really surprised that Kawasaki would use such a lame design as a factory supplied dealer add on accessory. Unacceptable, I'll be taking with my dealer this week to remedy this or to cancel the order.

Well,
I solved my problems. I'm going with the 2018 Mule Pro DX EPS in Hunter green:

Kawasaki glass windshield ( https://m.kawasaki.com/accessories/item/kqr-full-windshield-glass/KAF080041 ), wiper system by Curtis ( https://m.kawasaki.com/accessories/item/front-windshield-wiper-kit-by-curtis/1KAPFXWK ),
Kawasaki Plastic Roof from the LE $299 ( https://m.kawasaki.com/accessories/item/plastic-roof/999940571 ),
Seizmik soft doors,
Siezmik rear wall,
Heater System by Curtis ( https://m.kawasaki.com/accessories/item/heater-in-dash-by-curtis/9PH20S61 ),
Heavy Duty front and rear coil spring set ( https://m.kawasaki.com/accessories/item/heavy-duty-spring-set/999940514 ),
Kawasaki Bed Lift $1029 ( https://m.kawasaki.com/accessories/item/cargo-bed-lift-hydraulic/KAF080002 ),
Warn 72" ProVantage plow kit with winch is around $1700 or so.

Later I'll add the CV guards, 2"lift, front upper brush guard and rear bumper. I believe that I'll be set for a long and happy life together at that point.

I'm going to be out the door at $20,996 USD.

I'm really starting to get excited. This is going to be one heck of a hard core property maintenance/work chore machine!

Yes it will be.

It's a shame that there seems to be no active Mule Pro forums. I'm used to being on forums where you have many people communicating throughout the day on many posts. Tractor By Net is literally a tractor forum.... Yet has hundreds of times the activity of this forum. It's making me sad.

Larry, curious how the Kawi soft top and seizmik doors worked out for you. I have an FXT and want to do the Kawi glass windshield and such like you did with the curtis heater. Anything you would do different?
The doors and all work fine enough. They are not automotive quality in the dealing aspect, but I added some Amazon sourced foam sealing tape to close the bigger gaps, and my 72 year old father runs around on 5°F days plowing driveways in a sweatshirt with the Curtis heater and is happy. I'm sure that the factory Kubota can is fast better, but we are very pleased with this machine.
