It will replace your stock CDI unit and that will give you more aggresive power curvs so more power throughout all the power range, also you can either get an xrta 1000 rpm's or no rev limiter...

 

this should help me pull the bigger hills. If they get 20 when will they be done with them?

The only thing they might be able to do would be to change the timing curve. The lakota/bayou CDI has no rev limit from the factory. Also it already has a good timing curve. The only real thing they could do that would help would be to add some base timing but I have done this with a 6* offset flywheel key. The best thing you can do is intake and exhaust mods; i.e.: larger carb, cam, free flow exhaust. You would get more for what you spend on those mods then you would on a CDI.

 

Are they gonna have one for the Mojave too? If so, how much? Cuz the Mojave has a rev limiter, and I don't want to drain my account just for a new KLR cdi box. Thanks.

yeah they can make it for any quad just have to have 20 requests in order for them to start making the part...
